Not sure on the year but I took this picture up at Road America .
I was there for the first Super bike race they put on sometime around 79 and for many years there after.
Them was the good ol days.

heres Larry C on his factory backed calf-n-ah special back in 1935,he was a company rider for shwinn back then.
he was porting flathead ford blocks back then after hours,working on his own overhead cam conversion kits :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:
posting from deep under a non-descript barn in an undisclosed location southwest of Omaha.

It's mind blowing that even then these machines at their top end speeds was impressive. Now throw in the suspension that would have been pretty much nada :ohmy: ... Just shows you how tough these early racers were, balls of steel, no fear... B) indeed! :)
