sweet pic! What is the point on the belly pan? IS it there for aerodynamics, or just to protect your exhaust?

I would be glad to run without but it is required by rulebook to contain oil in the case of a blowup

it could look and fit better but I run ouf time before first race, found a modern ZX or something belly and just cut it.

dutch at airtech has made now a very nice one for old superbikes, just a bit complex to import to italy, will have to wait till i travel to the USA.

Cant you guys use a diaper like we do in dragracing? Seems like it would be alot safer? Cant believe that the oil is not going to slosh out of that thing.

Congrats on the trophy! I hope to know what that feels like someday. I have touched someone elses trophy, but I'm sure it's not the same.

I the belly pan is required in AFM as well, and the pan has to be removed for oil filter, and drain plug inspection(safety wired) every race day. I don't expect the pan to catch everything if something were to happen, but it's better than nothing. A diaper in the belly pan would absorb it, but it's not required.

Looks god just sitting there. if you get a camera, and I highly recommend a Go-Pro, attach some footage, as I'd love to hear what that bike sounds like on track.

I have looked into Dunlop Race Tires
www.rcbtires.com/
but they don't work for my rims and swing arm. This is the last year in the stock wheels, before I use 2006-2008 Kawasaki EX650 Wheels (17").

Congrats again on the trophy, and keep the reports coming.
