You might want to search the US eBay site for "kz700 mufflers".  There are some there...

The 1984 KZ700 is very similar to the L3.  Europe got the L4 instead of the 700A US tariff model but they appear to be virtually identical.
Also, the 750L models were sold in the UK and Europe, so that might be a source for parts (L1 thru L4). shipping can be $$$, though.
I think the 82 GPz 750 fuel tank is the same, but don't quote me on that.

Fuel tank are very hard to come by. It's a unicorn. Here in US, they only had 3 years of availability with that tank (82 - 84). Trust me. I was lucky and score a KZ700 tank long time ago, which went bad and did a restoration (de-rust the tank internal and coated with POR-15). As I had number of pinhole damage, I did look for it, but came up empty. Beware of similar tank. If you indeed have the L3 model, many tanks will look similar, but rear mounting point will be different.  If you have a way to fab up the rear mount, they those maybe an option. In EU, they had GT750 and the tank look very similar, but the rear mount was bit different. Again, maybe you can fab up the mount.

Muffer maybe little easier, but I never cared for the stock Kawasaki unit as you can do a weight training with it. So I prefer 4-1 exhaust. Maybe KZ700 ones?

Engine guard is another one. I did look for and still is, but so far empty. My son will be riding the KZ for little while, so I am looking for engine guard. No, not for me. Getting old but never laid the bike down, yet.

Good luck in your search. What you're looking for is near Unicorn.

From Cmsnl.com the GT750 uses the same rear mount bracket as the 750-L3 & KZ700.  However, it uses a different tank damper that fits over the center frame; the 750P damper fits more rearward.  Not really related, but both the 750L tank damper & 750P tank damper were used on the KZ650-CSR and probably the 750H Ltd. www.cmsnl.com/kawasaki-z750p3-1984-unite...3/partslist/F10.html

GT750 body set listed on EB.UK several years ago.

Sorry krazinite2003, Didn't mean to hi-jack your thread.

I don't know if the GT750 tank will work on the L3, all I know is that they use the same rear mounting bracket.  The different tank damper is a consideration >> maybe the tank tunnels are different? I've never compared the underside of the two tanks.
