Kawasaki KZ900 KZ1000 Mikuni 26mm Carburetors

Set of carbs off of a 1978 Kawasaki KZ1000 LTD. Recently put new gaskets and o-rings in them and all new stainless steel Allen head screws. All tops are chrome and outer 2 bowls are chrome. Bike ran great with them. 3&4 may need the floats adjusted just a bit as they leaked after I put them back together but, I tore the bike down so I didn't mess with adjusting them. The rest of the rebuild kits are included.  Located in West Central Illinois.  $300 if picked up, $325 including shipping within the continental US.

I think you've got two sets of #1 and #2 on the rack.  The fuel/air screws on #3 & #4 are on the wrong side.  

Awful hard to tune that way. 

Does this increase the value?

Those are the fuel screw type VM26's which are made up of left hand castings and the mixture adjustment is underneath.
It doesn't matter about the air screws as their positions are unmachined blanks.

Ahh yes!  I should have noticed the fuel screws and the bowl drains.  Mikuni must have had a lot of leftover left side carbs!

Why ever, AFAIK ,only the Suzuki bikes have Mikuni VM26 carbs sets with the air and fuel adjustement screws.

Yes! Only Suzuki have both ..
The ones above are Kawasaki and only have Fuel adjustment.

Is that a air screw I see on #3?

Maybe not. I just corrected the pic and posted it
