Doe Anyone Use One of These Beauties?

Great tool..I’m still little young to work out of the floor

I only use 3 spoons too.  But the last set I did on my supermoto took forever to break the old bead. Im def buying a bead breaker next set.

I bought a cheapo tire machine from Harbor Fright for $79 a few years ago and threw away most of it so I only use the vice and the bead breaker.
Then I use three 6 inch Motion Pro levers. To protect the rim I cut three rectangles from a Clorox bottle, very tough yet pliable plastic.
For lubricant I use Lemon Pledge though one of these days I'll get some real stuff.

I change them myself but it's much quicker with a second pair of hands. The machine has paid for itself ten times over.

If I had the space, I'd probably get one of these No-Mar machines.  It definitely looks easier than using spoons.

There is also this one that looks pretty cool.  Cheaper than a powered machine, but it still uses the same type of touchless arm and ramp.

The last time I installed new tires I couldn't break the old bead on the rear tire as I had done in the past.  So I used a razor knife to cut the old tire around close to the bead and tossed the tread section.  This left 2 rings of the old tire which then were very easy to remove.  Ed

I had a hard time breaking the bead on my bicycle front tire that I changed for the first time ever yesterday.  It's been in use since I bought the bike in 2008 or 2009.
