So I just replaced the clutch adjustment screw in my 1980 kz440 ltd and now I can't get into second with it. First is no problem, and neutral is the same, but second is not there at all. I've followed the adjustment guidelines and all that. The only thing I can think of is the bead at the other side of the clutch push rod dropped down by accident. Would that be causing my problem and if that happened how do I get it back? Thanks,

-cody

Kawasakis have a positive neutral finder. You can't kick the bike into second unless it's rolling. Are you riding the bike when you try for second?

I'll give it a try. Haven't been able to ride it a whole lot because of carb trouble.
