Yes. He has a Kawa H1 Mach 3 500 in that lot , a1972 Kawasaki H2 Mach IV 750 and 1979 Kawasaki Z1-R  that he's giving to me as well. Not now but in about 8 months.

We've ruled out the coil, and it's unlikely to be the ignition. Could be a valve hanging open when thermally expanded. Sounds like it could also be the engine leaning out from fuel starvation before shutting off. For more information, check the spark plug colour and condition. Spark plugs never lie. When you drop the carb bowls, check for any sediment at the bottom. If you see any, try disconnecting the fuel line from the tank and running some petrol into a clean bit of white tissue paper, to see if you get any specks of dirt. If you get any, unfortunately you've got the horrible job ahead of cleaning out and sealing the tank. In any case, when you go through the carburettors look really carefully for any problems.

Thanks for this. The tank is fine. . Pristine on the inside and sealed. Took it off this weekend had a look with one of those tube cameras and light. Its like brand new in there because my uncle cleaned/sealed and flushed the tank just before he stopped riding it. Not one bit of rust and not a particle in it. The higher value bikes he has, which he is giving me me like the  H1 mach 500 III, etc took priority, but he did care for the KZ750 and KZ650 too.

The consensus it, its probably the condenser. We will see.
