I have the project completed and thought I should share it. I replaced the 8AN fittings in the German Tomforde eng. fitting with -10AN and then ran -10 or 5/8" hose to a Setrab oil temperature regulator which has huge ports. Then to a Setrab Series 6(mol 12" wide) 19 row oil cooler and back. I used the -10 size because I measured the outlet from the as to be about .460" if I recall correctly and the typical -8 hose size is slightly smaller than that closer to 7/16" and I was trying to minimize pressure loss. Since this all gets covered up with fiberglass body work the visual appearance is of no importance to me. I would have preferred to mount the cooler horizontally, but the installation would have been much more difficult.due to possible interference with suspension components. I did make the bracketing large enough to put in a larger 25 row cooler in necessary. I am concerned about oil drain back and calculated the additional oil requirement as 22 fl oz. Picture included

Thank you. On replacing the carbs I had to turn the #4 air pod sideways to clear the hose.
