I use Rotella 15/40, I had the uncool moment of not realizing I had over filled the crankcase, due to the clear oil in the sight glass looking like there was no oil in it. I had to empty the cases and start over. Not my proudest moment. Anyway due to missing the drain pan I had a large oil spill to clean up. That’s when I noticed the quality feel of the Rotella, confirming I had been using good oil.

I can vividly imagine the experience, but I refuse to be discouraged and will continue to change my own oil.
Unfortunately, I will likely remember your moment for the rest of my life.
