The important thing setting valve clearance of the KZ650/750 or any other shim under bucket motor is to measure very carefully and take good notes so you only have to remove and install the camshafts once. There are many sad stories of broken and stripped cam cap bolts, so take a great deal of care and limit the amount of times you remove and reinstall the camshafts. I think there is a manual available on this site to download for the factory recommended procedure and torque specs. Good Luck!
