Custom Front Sprocket for Wider Rims was created by mbcustom
Hello,
I have changed the rear fork and rims (putting wider ones) on my 1982 KZ750E.
Now the problem is that the front sprocket must be made "thicker" , as the wider rim width offsets it from its original position on the engine shaft.
I have already drawn a draft of how it should be, I thought I would have it produced to mine custom specification.
The question is, since many of you have changed the rims, how did you solve the problem?
Are there any commercial sprockets with suitable internal hole processing for my motorbike shaft, and 520 chain teeth (so I can avoid to make a custom one) ?
Do you know if the internal processes of the front sproket have a nomenclature to identify?
Thanks
