Silencer exhaust muffler inside photo kz440 81

I guess I'm lucky, my '77 looks like it can be repacked (and really needs it), although maybe not in the "normal" way... my manual doesn't seem to show a perforated tube down the middle:



It looks like there is a baffle tube at the mid-point of the muffler, before the muffler narrows at the footpegs, but I can't tell if it runs all the way to the rear. Then there is a chamber with fiberglass behind the footpeg, but I can't tell if it has a tube down the middle, or something else (maybe a screen behind the fiberglass?).
