What year is the 750? Asking as the charging systems tend to vary. There's a topic on KZR by loudhvx with simplified wiring diagrams for various KZs & there are several for the 750B & 750G models which have points ignition. In his diagrams you would use almost everything on the LH side to run the engine.

KZR topic >> bare bones for mattylight by loudhvx >> See pgs 11-on (note: some of the diagrams may be gone. pgs. 1-10).
750G on pages 15 & 17. 750B on pages 18 thru 21. possibly others. .... wire gauge >> see pg 12 near the bottom

The 76 and 77 kz750 twins use very specialized regulators. Luckily, oregonmotorcycleparts.com knows and has exactly what you need... When it comes time to get the charging system working.

The points are standard like any other points equipped kz.

If you want to run a modern ignitor using the points as a trigger, you can eliminate the condenser.

As Martin mentioned there are a few 750 twin diagrams in the mattylight thread.
