Oil cooler fittings was created by Bulletkz
I want to add a oil cooler to my 80 kz1000.
I'm building it now the motor is not stock and it gets and stays hot here in Florida.
I found the fittings for sale on a few sites but think the price is way high for just the fittings.
Does the police version come with the cooler fittings? Or any other bikes ?

I found one fittings only on Ebay for $217.00
Z1 sells them for $70.00
I don't think a oil cooler should be a $500. Investment.
I was hoping to spend under $30. For the fittings.

$70 is about right. I think I paid a little over $50. THAT DOESN'T INCLUDE THE COOLER, HOSE AND PARTS.

Under 30 dollars. Thats Funny!!!!!!!!

By the time you buy a high quality oil cooler, AN hose and fittings, and fab up a nice oil cooler mount, plus the fittings, bet you will be real close to 400 bucks or so!!!!

I made a cooler setup for a Suzuki GS for quite a bit less than $400. This is a good source for coolers and hose/hose ends... www.anplumbing.com/extras/earls-coolers.html

My oil cooler Setup was a 100 Euro Investment. The expensive part was the new oil lines for 30 Euro (2 meter of high temp oil line), 10 piece of SS ear clamps 6 Euro.

I meant for just the fittings to the motor.
I have everything else sitting around from car builds. Probably use a custom trans cooler.
