Beware 1105 is Possible but Sleeves are thin 1075 a better option IMO.

Max size on stock 1000 liners is 73mm = 1105cc.
It does leave the liners a little thin at the spigot which is prone to cracking at that size.
Also the thin liner also causes accelerated ring wear and oil consumption under high load as the liner suffers microscopic distortion.
Personally I don't go bigger than 72mm on the stock liner.

gordone, replacing the liners are much more expensive. do you have some extra 600 euro for me?
My engine case is bored for 1200 ccm liners, 80 mm OD

As one who has probably done more of these than anyone else, I can say the 1105 will fit and we do it for people who absolutely insist. However it is my opinion that a 1075 motor will make more power because the liners will stay round and provide ring seal. We still do a large number of 1075s. I believe the 70.5 mm kit the other poster is going to use would not be worth it when he could get an extra 50cc for the same money.
