I had the same, I understand the reason is the o-ring get old and hard. I got a tips try to torque the top bolt just alittelbit exstra?

Gordone,

Could you tell me more details about how you torqued the top bolt? I'm a little nervous about the idea of torquing it extra. How far over the spec did you go, and did you only torque the two bolts on that side of the head, or did you tighten all 12 of them equally? Also, did you loosen them a little before torquing?

I'd be leary torquing old gaskets and O rings.

I dident neeed todo it since I rebuilded the engine.

I will see if I can find the thread about it.

If youconfigure your torque wrench to nm speck, and yourfinger the nuts is below spack today you cannot do any harm or?
