Intake Boots - Fuel was created by cg94
Just got back from a ride on my 78 Kz650 SR. I noticed recently when I did a carb sync with vacuum gauges that a couple of the intake boot nipples had gas in the caps when I took them off to attach the hoses. Is this normal or am I running too rich of a mixture? Based on looking at the plugs the color seems to be good. Although I'm still struggling to know if my air mixture screws are at the right point ( I have them all set to around 2 turns out and they seem to be at their strongest idles ). Any tips would be appreciated, thanks!

Some drops of fuel in the rubber caps is normal, no reason to worry about it.
Some people switch the intake boot vacuum nipples on to the top.
