At first I thought it was the light but on cloudy day still appears green. Any ideas?
Thanks!

Royal Purple motor oil was sold there. As the name implies, it was dark purple (may still be). This was before synthetics came into common usage.
If a drop or two of Royal Purple got onto the maroon floor, it was almost impossible to see unless light reflected off it just right. We used to joke that it was "purple tiny fluid". We'd tell people "It's this purple fluid that's real tiny. You can't hardly see it."
It was fun to see their eyes glaze over as they tried to process that.
Apologies for the hijack.

Yes, that is it!!! From my liquid cooled conversion lol The previous owner had the bike in for extensive service a couple times a year and I can imagine that he went with a green oil cause it was cool or something or was told it was better. I guess I got worried about gas in the engine with the oil so good to know it probably is green colored oil.
