Thank you. I'm not sure what I was think about when I read plug holes but that wasn't it. Makes the most sense though.

Nads rises like a Phoenix from a long slumber. It's eyes adjust quickly to the light as they take in the details of its new world. It quickly gets its bearings and begins to unleash its fearsome lightening bolts to destroy the ignorance and confusion that has flourished during the long night.

The area between the spark plug hole and the ports is relatively weak. Cracks can form there, leading to catastrophic problems.

Happy Thanksgiving to all.

I started cleaning the combustion chambers on the head. The only thing that appears to work to remove the buildup is a brass wire wheel on my rotozip.

Here's an image of the first chamber I've cleaned.

I'm burning through brushes this way. Has anyone got a better method? I don't mind losing the brushes but I'm concerned about all the little wires and getting all of them out of the head.

So far I've not seen any cracks by the spark plug hole. I'll keep a look out though.
