The APE clutch kit has an extra steel and fiber disk in the stack. I was going to pull a steel and a fiber to see what happens with the stock number of disks. I have also heard good things about the Barnett clutches.

Ok so I got the OEM clutch in and shifting problem fixed, and i had it up to 8000k RPM and the clutch was not slipping. so it was the clutch all along, no burnt spots visible. I kept the APE springs in there though. I'm kinda surprised by this as all the other APE parts i have used have been very high quality. i guess it was only a $70 lesson but still...
