I LOVE my KZ750 but i want to go faster without buying a KZ1000 (which ranges from $4,500 and up). Is it possible to stick a KZ1000 engine into a KZ750 frame and have everything work as it should?

Is it possible? Yes. Is it cheap and easy? No. But - given enough time, money, creativity, and a thorough understanding of motorcycle geometry and dynamics it could be done. Here's a picture of a KZ650 that has a big KZ engine bumped up to 1400cc installed along with numerous other mods - beautifully done. Your KZ750 twin has a different frame and would entail different challenges. Ed

You can find a modern 1000 for less than $4000.
