Your second batch of numbers looks better.

I'd change shims to put the lash between .08-.18 mm as detailed in the service manual.

You saw my attachment in last replay, I`m doing correct by going close to 0.18mm then it will be longer time to next time ? :)
or shall I try to hit 0,13 who middle between 0,8 abd 0,18 ?

Thank you.

Targeting .18 will give you more time before you have to adjust because the clearance normally closes down with mileage. The shims come in .05mm increments so there is only so much you can do with regards to targeting a specific number though.

Thank you for replay, my insecurity is that I have been informed my engine is 1981 z750L.
I cannot see L listed?

When you have questions like that look at the parts fishe and compare part numbers. Partzilla has a good fishe.

I have found the shims now I hope :)

Kawasaki 92025-1098 SHIM,2.40T
Kawasaki 92025-1101 SHIM T2.55
Kawasaki 92025-1105 SHIM,2.75T

The problem for me is when I going into partzilla I cannot find z750L, but looks like the shims is the same, so hopefully are they correct :)

Do you have any photos of your bike? The first year for the 750L model was 1983. The L model bike engines were rubber mounted too so your 650 frame would require significant mods before an L model engine would fit.

Hem... I asked my local workshop for Kawa and they informed me it was a 1981 z750L engine, maybe they are wrong?

The bike it self is a 1981 KZ650-D4, but engine has been replaced to a 750 engine.
The engine number is KZ750 EE025011.

That's not the L engine, that's a regular 750 engine from either 1980 or 1981. Same as in my bike (check signature). The L engine has different engine covers and more squared off looking fins on the head.

The below bike shows the L engine (in 700 form).

The bike is purchase in europe.
