Try Joe @ Pit Stop Performance.

Next bet would be the other re-sellers - Dynoman, Z1 Ent, Schnitz, Star Racing. Any of them might still have stock available.

How quick does your 77 go - BTW?

Tried Ape, Schnitz, Z1, Star, Dynonan. no luck. I'll try pit stop thanks.

Bike should run 11.0 with this head installed.

The head I'm using has all Manley valves. I don't want one different valve.

Awesome!

I was hoping for 11.5's @ 120 with my new street beater KZ/GPz (Wiseco 1170, etc...), but it doesn't look like I'll make any passes at all this year...maybe next season, I hope.

I would think it would run better than that.

I agree!
I'm no semi-pro drag racer but my nearly stock 77' KZ1000a would run 1320's at just at or under 12.00 seconds fairly consistently.
I even had one stellar ride with an 11.67 et.
My only mods were:
A 14 tooth counter shaft sprocket and 35 tooth rear wheel sprocket, Denco headers, properly jetted carbs and over the counter Dyna III electronic ignition system.

With a Dyna-s, Accel coils, weiseco header, 29 mikuni flat slides my 1075 ran 12.30s @ 108 all day long, which is about 3.5 tenths slower than it should. Stock cams are a huge limiting factor.

Mid to high 12.0's was quite average ETs for a these stock'ish KZ1000's and non semi/pro riders in Detroit, MI.
My advantage was, back then, I was screwing around with riding a semi-drag bike Kaw H2 750, so I learned how to really get a good launch on a motorcycle and I weighed in at around 132lbs dressed and in leathers with helmet!!
I've only taken my 77' KZ1000a to drag strip three times. It was my main transportation ride!
But I think with a few weeks practice on my slightly modded KZ and a better rear tire, I could've have ridden it consistently in the high 11.70's back then.
Your modded bike should go faster then mine ever did.

Just ordered a new 15T sprocket. Dog off the line with the 16 and my 130 tire. Great on the HWY though.

Hmmmm..... yeah I'm still on the fence about trying that 16/35 combo Steve.
The 15/35 is just a pinch lower then the stock 15/32.... I'm not sure I can feel the difference.
I certainly can feel the 14/35!!
