Oil in Fuel ?

Only thing that perplexes me is that there is a clear oil presence in the gas when I wipe my finger under the overflow fuel nipples at the bottom of the float bowls of the carburetors ? This is when the bike is parked after a ride. At one time I was concerned when I would find fuel on the ground under the bike at times but turned out to be a slow leaking fuel petcock which now has been repaired. Incidentally the float levels are correct with the clear tube method.
Granted there's not much fuel found at the overflow nipples, just a small drop on my fingertip. But never the less there is oil present.
Any Ideas ???

The oil in the gas appears clear and kind of yellowish brown in color.
Should the oil breather tube have a filter on it ? I just left it open to vent into the atmosphere. And as I said when I swipe my finger over the vent tube, there's no oil trace. Nor do I see any oil spray inside the carburetor or engine area.

Should the oil breather tube have a filter on it ? -- NO. Such filters are IMO worthless trouble-makers.
I just left it open to vent into the atmosphere -- That's just fine.
