Piston brand identification.

Kz1000, 1075cc set for 72mm bore.
Trying to figure out what brand of piston I have.
"C" stamped on the top

You may want to contact them to identify the pistons. They have 9/1, 10.5/1 and 12.5/1.

The funny looking w on piston pin boss,3rd from last picture.
Somebody spent some time/money on those pistons with the gas porting,Those pistons have some serious domes on them.
What are you going to use them for?

Ah, it looked like a 7 to me,
Wiseco make sense, the "C" stamped on the piston dome denotes the ring style apparently.

Yeah wiseco pistons are pretty easy to spot,No special skills involved in that one! :laugh:

They were in the bike, had a stuck ring and was blowing oil out my breather.
Just trying to get it back on the road at this point.
I'll post a link to my other thread.

If these have been worked over I'll rering and reuse the piston I have.

Gas porting was done around the tops of the piston to force the rings out for a better seal. Never had the nerve to try it though. The holes on the sides are for more oiling. My cast Wiseco's have the same mark on the wrist pin boss so they must be wiseco's. The rings are the same for the old cast and newer billet versions.
