Has anyone had any issues with the oil warning light coming on when their bike is hot? Running around home here it doesn't come on but the other day I ran it about 25 miles and got stuck in traffic and it would come on at idle (about 1400 rpm) it would usually go off at about 1800-2000 rpm. Stopped for about 1/2 hour started it up and it was good again until I was again in slow traffic. Once I got out of town and got some speed(cooling) it would "flicker" at idle. Running Rotella 15w40 oil, fresh change with a new oil filter and I didn't notice anything in the oil at the last oil change (Monday evening, 150ish miles ago). I did think the bike ran hot but can't see how to improve the cooling any other than by adding a oil cooler. Could be running a little lean causing some additional heat but with fresh carbs and everything at stock settings I don't think that is the issue. Unfortunately I have no history on the bike so I don't know if this was an issue before. Thanks.

UnfortunatelyI don't have the fitting to attach my gauge to the test port. Is there another place I can tap into the oil pressure system?
