1982 gpz 750 clutch release cover was created by rinferno
I'm looking for replacement for clutch release cover, p/n 14025-1486. Its not available, will this part work? P/N 14090-1422 fits kz 700, but note just below is listed 14025-1486 just as listed underneath. Link www.partzilla.com/parts/search/Kawasaki/...%20COVERS/parts.html I don't care if its silver, don't want to pay whats listed on ebay. Is this a possible substitution?

Steve its the little clutch release cover, not the whole side cover, original not available just wanted to know if someone has used one from different model as a replacement, don't care if its aluminum will paint black to match.

That might be a tall order. Does it look like the $15 one? Someone might have one here if you're lucky.

Steve the one for $13.53. Side covers on kz 700 , some kz 750h series use side cover the same as gpz without stud for shifter on complete side cover. So my guess is that the the little cover may be the same but a different part number. Someone here may have an idea.

Be a shame to buy the whole thing for the little cover but I bought one for mine just for the actuator. $20 and I used it for my clutch actuator mod and cleaned up the cover to put on the bike. I like having spare parts on hand.

Ordered clutch release cover part #14090-1422, mine was missing on 1982 GPZ 750 this part fits. It is NOT black in color but a direct bolt on. Original part # 14025-1486, black in color, and if you can find 14025-1409 black in color, also no longer available. Partzilla said it wouldn't fit, they were wrong. My guess they had some kid just looking up part numbers. Note for to others this part is available and fits many models.
