Last fall did a new clutch cable, took cover off and cleaned and lubed the ramp and then adjusted. I just went out and looked and looks like I am banging the shift lever into the engine side cover, maybe I got the shift lever one tooth off and I can't get a proper throw now on the lever. I'll check it out more tomorrow

I had that problem with the stock lever. I took a old 350 Honda one I had laying around, bent it to fit and now I can shift without moving my foot off the peg. B)

Great idea, I like that! Hopefully it's a just a simple shift lever issue

The kickstand spring pin kept me from having it one tooth down so I had to bend the lever to miss it. The stock one is too brittle to do it with. One tooth down helps to make the shifts.

Problem solved, it was caused by me putting it back on incorrectly (the shift lever)

Moved it down one tooth today and all is right with the world again!
