Blown gasket or worse

Well riding at bike week on the freeway, I suddenly lost power like I was out of gas. Smoke was coming out of the center carbs and also a lot of oil upfront. do copper gaskets blow their seal? Oil is at normal level too. When I crank the kickstart I don't hear or feel it grind. Hopefully not a bent valve/destroyed piston.

Do you hear a chirping sound?

I can't imagine which gasket could make all of those symptoms. I hope for your sake I'm too ignorant, but that souns like a more expensive problem.
It seems to me that the only way to push smoke out of the carbs is for the intake valves to be open at the wrong time, or for the ports to be cracked in a way that cylinder pressure is entering the ports.
I hope somebody has a simpler, cheaper explanation.

A bent valve or valves can do it. Only thing to do is open it up.

Compression test first, eh?

Do a leak down test on it.

Yah. I don't have a leak down tester. It's on my list with blasting cabinets. Thanks for the replies guys. Pictures this week
