How do you know the misfire is with #1 or #2?

Engine cold >>> after starting the engine, pat the exhaust pipes to see if they're warming up evenly.
After the engine is warmed up, use a spray bottle to mist the pipes --- the water should sizzle.
Don't get burned --- don't touch the pipes when they're hot or starting to get hot.

Battery. what's the condition of the battery? the bike needs a good, fully charged battery to run right as it provides the energy to fire the coils. I use a Ctek US 0.8 smart charger & VC97 digital multimeter.

Ignition system. Any idea if your bike has the original ignition coils? The stock coils can be problematic, especially since the spark plug wires are molded into them. If the coils are old, they may need replacing. but maybe not. and new spark plug wires. Check, clean & lubricate the timing advancer. be sure to separate the rotor from the body so that it can be properly serviced.
