Look for stock OEM Kawasaki clutch and steel plates.... The are really VERY good.

I'm assuming you mean Heavy Duty not the other nasty HD word.
The heavy duty Springs are a requirement if he runs the 110 cams as well as cam degreeing.

27 Mar 2016 07:13What front end is that? FYI I used a 92 GSXR front end and it's to short. From what I have read ZX9 is the way to go.jowek70 wrote: Mock up day

Front: 94-97 zx9 forks, zx9 triples with kz stem, zx9 clip ons, zx9 front wheel, axle, rotors and calipers.
Rear: gs1100e swingarm, gs1100e JSB shocks, 94-97 zx9 rear wheel with different bearings to run gs1100 rear axle. Still figuring out spacing on the rear and a rear brake set up.

We are waiting on cams to send the engine for building, but had one last question beforehand: Is the cylinder head swap to later model kz1000 (81+) worth the time and money?
I read it has bigger valves and will place nicely with the bottom end of the 77.
Either way the head will be getting serviced, ported, etc.
Any input is appreciated.
