How do I get the valve seals and guides out? I don't want to rip the seals. I've got the springs and buckets out.

No sense trying to save the seals unless for some reason you are busting down the head after recently replacing them.

Before touching the valve guides you should do the "wobble check" and check the measured values with those in the service manual. Most likely they will be fine unless the engine has big miles on it. Changing guides is not a trivial task; you need various special tools, plus you also will then need to cut the valve seats, which requires even more tools.

Did you get the steering head bearings in?
Just wondering.

I haven't even gotten my frame back yet but in the mean time I'm replacing the head on the engine and getting new head gasket and lower head gasket. I took the head parts off the engine to see the rings and pistons. The pistons aren't corroded stuck but there is some carbon build up on the pistons.
