Rattling starter clutch. Lose 3 st. clutch bolts.

2 KZ1000, same problem!
I bought a parts bike, 81 KZ1000 J, it had the same problem like mine 80 KZ1000E, lose starter clutch bolts.
So if you hear rattling from clutch, I suggest buying 3 bolts with allen heads m8x1.25 thread.
Probably red locktite is a good idea. I used JBWeld

Right on, I will check mine. It had been rattling from time to time. Only approx9k original miles bit I figured age was getting to it. Perhaps this is the fix. Thx

I use a hand impact driver for them.

I think most models need 16 mm rotor remover up to 80, then 18 mm.
