Plz forgive me if this might seem like a dum question...but will an earlier KZ900/1000 starter work in a '79-'80 KZ1000 Mark II engine?

Thanks Leon. I was fairly sure they wld interchange, but I haven't found any spec sheets to compare the starters of the different models. Thanks....................Mike
