Don't know what a be model is but your best bet is to go to kawasaki.com, owner center, parts diagrams and go from there

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationWhat year is BE? In looking at the parts fishe PN 11004-1055 seems to cover a bunch of years. I suspect just about any of the various original Kawasaki gasket versions are fine though. As long as you stay clear of aftermarket gaskets you should be okay.

The head gasket doesn't leak generally. It's rubber orings on each side that harden and leak. To replace the orings though, the head has to come off and a new gasket is highly recommended. I've replaced the orings and reused the head gasket a couple times without problem, but mileage may vary. For sure replace any rubber orings when you're doing the work.

321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.

I'd buy a full gasket set, I bought one off Ebay for by KZ650 and it was barely more than buying a few bits separately, You'll need the head gasket and those O rings, but if you have everything you can replace the valve cover gaskets and all those other seals while you are at it.

I've reused head gaskets too. I don't like to do it. They can fail and it will cost more money than the head gasket. In a pinch, I've sprayed them with silver paint and put them in. Only temporary  .

It's about $50-$60 for a full gasket set, why bother to consider reusing a head gasket unless you are really stuck and just have to reassemble the bike to ride it somewhere? While I have no doubt it could work, it's a lot of work to dismantle the motor again if you are the unlucky one. If you are going to have to replace the O rings any way, it's false economy not to get a head gasket at the same time. Buy a whole set and you have everything you need. and might need on hand.

It does on 750 twins which is what the "750B" series is. The 750B4 is 1979, B3 is 1978, B2 is 1977, and B1 is 1976. The head gaskets seep oil right at the front. There is a small 10mm bolt that is supposed to stop it but they leak anyway and the oil blows backward leaving a black "scum line" around the head cylinder interface. If you look at pictures of old twins, you can find the leak line.

It is true that the tack drives are also notorious for leaking. As suggested, dry and clean it as much as you can and try to isolate the leak point.

This picture is low res but it shows what I was talking about.
