Countershaft sprocket spacers? was created by jackleberry
I'd like to try a 530 18T front sprocket, but can't find any any with the 4.5mm boss on them that the stock sprocket on the KZ1000P has, so I'm looking for a source for 3 1.5mm spacers.

Anyone know a place to find either a 530 18T sprocket with a boss or some 1.5mm spacers (besides Z1Enterprises!)?

Have you tried JT Sprockets, Sunstar, Sprocket Specialists, or PBI Sprockets?

Yes. Some of them have the sprocket I want, but as I mentioned they lack the boss. Z1 apparently has a custom sprocket made by sprocket specialists that I believe has the boss, but A) it's perpetually out of stock and B) I'd prefer not to deal with them anymore.

13144-1318 is the OEM part number for the 02-03 Kz1000P sprocket the Z1E referred to as a cross reference. It's around $40.

Yeah, I noticed that. I assume from the part number that it's an 18 tooth sprocket, but I can't find confirmation of that or whether it requires a spacer. And anyway, that's kind of pricey. I really just want to try the 18T sprocket... I've got a 530 17/42 (2.47:1) set on one of my bikes and a 630 15/33 (2.20:1) on the other. The bike with the 2.20 ratio feels much more powerful than the one with the 2.47, despite the fact that the motor should be producing more torque at the higher RPMs. Anyway, I wanted to try the 2.33 ratio to bring them closer together and see how it feels. I can get a sprocket that should work for about $13... Just need some spacers to go with it, which nobody but Z1 seems to have (but Z1 will no doubt charge me $14 to ship $3 worth of washers that could fit in an envelope, in a giant box filled with styrofoam peanuts six weeks from the time I order them).

Two years ago I got my parts in 3 days and they combined shipping. I balked at the $7 for each item and they only charged me once for each order. When I was told a few things were out of stock I changed my order to only what they had on hand. I got a call when the other items were in but I already found a few and ordered what I still needed. I don't know what is happening but they were better then.
Now I shop around.
