Had a break in the weather today, it was only in the 90's. High humidity tho. With the swamp cooler blowing through the shed and into the shade cover, I was able to get it done in the afternoon.


This thing was leaking like a Harley. :S


The three seals are driven in from the outside on the cover. There's no collar in between so the outside comes out/in from the outside, the inner seal goes in/out from the inside facing the case.






This is the only cover I don't have Allens


When I put it together two years ago, the clutch seal wouldn't stay in so I JB welded it.




Seals are in, the shift seal went in like the drive seal but the clutch seal is just rubber so it pushes in from the outside.


These are the tools I carry in my top box.


Hit it with a little paint while I had the covers off. I'll do the same when I replace the kick start and ignition cover seal.

I couldn't stand it. I took an hour this afternoon, masked and squirted some paint on the other side. The rest can wait until I tear down the head. Been cutting gussets for the frame.
