Cam clearance on different on GPZ head than KZ1000

WARNING: The following calculations were done in my head and may prove faulty. ymmv

.410 lift on a 1.10 base circle means the peak of the lobe is .960 above the centerline.

.465 lift on a 1.00 base circle means the peak is .965, needing a tiny bit more clearance, though I still do not know for certain if yhe GPz has the same clearance problems.

I'd suggest asking LC and report back to the curious folk here.

I'm sure he is. Can you lay one of the cams in the head and gently rotate by hand to see if there is a problem? Did you tell LC which cams you want to use? I'm sure he would ask before starting the head work, and if needed he would do the clearancing at the same time.
