$25.00 in a local weekend garage sale.... worth it? Engine has been open for 5 years according to the owner.

WOW! Scrap aluminum is worth more! The oil cooler fittings sell for $50 bucks on eBay all the time! What I see is "NO hole" drilled disc's! Which means 1976! LTD Only! Which means Morris Mags!!!!!!!!! :woohoo: Big Bucks!!!!!!!!!!!!! For 1976 Morris Mags!

Looking closer, it looks like a Z1 frame. It has that bushing in the steering head support.

As I look again? The rear master cylinder reservoir is plastic! The 76 LTD had an all aluminum body?
But who knows what happens over all the years?
These motorcycles always were mis-matched and changed parts all of the time! From wrecks to drag bikes, to stolen and sold parts.
I have did it all over 40 years!

Is that necessarily so?.....I have a 77 KZ 1000 LTD with no drill holed double discs, I thought that's how they come as stock in that year (they sure are useless in the rain). Frame bits look just like mine too especially the rear peg/exhaust hangers.

Not a '76 900 LTD. They had the rear M/C mounted behind the rear frame downtube almost as an afterthought. I'm going with 1000LTD.
