See this exploded view from Kawasaki

www.kawasaki.com/Parts/DownloadDiagramPd...&modelcode=ZX1100-A1

In the lower left, there are components between the clutch release mechanism and the clutch itself.

There is a group of parts including
600
92043
92022
92015
92026-A

And a group of parts including
92022
92015
13116-A
92046
92022-C
92026-B

Are both of these inside my engine or is this two different assemblies used to connect the clutch release pushrods to the clutch operating plate?

I need to verify these parts are there, will these be accessible with removal of the clutch operating plate?

A bit of back story, this gpz1100 engine is installed in my 4x4 chain driven mud buggy. I bought it not running from a friend for a good price, and I've been going through it slowly over the past month or so. When I got it the right side engine cover was missing and the clutch operating plate and the friction plates and steel plates were all missing. I got the engine running with a new fuel pump and some digging around in the hacked apart wiring harness. I found replacements for everything I knew of, but I don't think I had a bearing and a pusher in there and I'm not sure if what's in the exploded view would have been in between the clutch basket and the operating plate or if they would be behind the clutch basket(under the self locking nut).

Any help would be appreciated.

Further investigation reveals, the first grouping is apparently for 84 models, the second grouping is for 83 models.

Please correct me if I'm wrong

After calling to verify my order there is still question as to which parts should be used.

Can anyone help? I just need to know if I need to order both groups of parts or if I need to order either or.

Please help, I don't have the original pieces to verify or compare...and I can't seem to find any Kawasaki folks here in alaska that are familiar.

Thanks!

Try comparing the parts at Kawasaki.com --- the 83 & 84 ZX1000-A1/A2 models are listed under GPz.
From what I was able to figure out, the parts used on the 83 are only in the list for the A1 & the stuff for the 84 are only in the list for the A2. So I think your bike should have the 1st group of parts but not the second group. I think the parts shown within the small box in the diagram are for the 84 model. ???

Thanks for the input!

After comparing the two parts lists, everything is the same except the ball, pushrod pin and clutch spacer on the 83 model is replaced with the clutch pushrod, needle bearing flat washer and clutch spacer on the 84 model.

I went ahead and ordered both, as the needle bearing should wear less and should interchange...or so I'm told, as long as I install all those parts listed n the 1984 parts list.

Correct me if that's wrong please, and thanks again!!

I think everything else is the same, so you could probably use either group of parts on either model --- the 84 stuff on the 83, or vice versa.
