Hi Everyone,
Thanks for all of the feedback here. This place is awesome. I have been busy with new baby and work and haven't had a chance to look at it (I know, I know). Do we have any consensus on whether I should be working the bolt clockwise or counter clockwise to get it off? I will send pics once I can do that.

You can spray a bit of penetrating oil on it. Use a 17mm wrench to hold the crank in place, the use a 13mm socket to remove the bolt. It is a standard thread, lefty loosely rightie tightly.
If you try and remove the 13mm without using the 17mm to stop the crank from turning over, you can snap the stud that holds the advancer in place.

Post a pic. I just cannibalized a advancer off a 750 and still have the weights and everything except the springs. If it will work for you, you can have it.
