That looks like they cut the stock exhaust mufflers in half. I cut my stock exhaust right before then collector pipe. I got the mufflers on ebay for $60. They included all the mounting hardware. They do not have removable baffles, but that is fine because they sound awesome and provide enough back pressure.Drafter89 wrote: Anything I can do to where it doesn't screw up the valves? Or would I have to do some engine component upgrading or something? ( which I'm trying to stay away from at the moment) here's a pic of the exhaust now...just so you can get an idea of what I'm working with. Sounds really good but looks like shit.
but trust me they will trash your exhaust valves. The lack of back pressure and cold air back up the exhaust is not great.
Whip it like a mule!

DobbinsCMA wrote: Swest, I too have a kz440 ltd. it's exhaust has rusted out and the left side collector fell off lol you seem to have some interesting solutions. How should I bind up the exhaust? I don't have access to a welder. I was thinking of just cutting the other side off and going straight pipes but I hate loud shit. Can I use a washer jp welded to the end to create some back pressure?
They have slip on's for that. Slip in baffles too.
I blew out a muffler on my truck, silicon-ed on a piece of aluminum sheet and used pop rivets to keep it on. Soon after I bought another muffler.
