Won't idle off of choke... was created by KzChop82
Valves refaced, seats cut.
Put everything back together- didn't idle.
Checked valve clearance, it was too tight.
Changed shims- now everything is back into spec.
Still won't idle.
Took jets apart, made sure pilots and mains were clean. Shot some air into the pilot holes to make sure passages were clean.

Still won't idle without choke on.
Any ideas??

What is on it for air filtration? Also, if your carb holders have vacuum ports, are the vacuum caps on them? Ed

Too much air and not enough fuel. It could fuel delivery on your recently cleaned carbs (pilot jet) but it's most likely a vac leak between the engine and the carbs. Like someone already mentioned, check that all caps are in place.

If it only runs with choke then your idle circuits are still clogged. I know you said you cleaned them but cleaning means different things to different people. There are little tiny passageways in the bodies of the carbs that also have to be clean. I have had numerous people send me their carbs saying they have cleaned them and can't get them to work only for me to find out they were not even close to being clean.

Patton's holding the air outlets while using the compressor and cleaner did wonders for me along with the new carb holders. They were clean enough to eat off of but not deep inside.

You have done a valve job, you have CV carbs with pods and you have straight pipes. You have raised the compression of the engine, now the jetting isn't working. Having to use the choke tells me this.
