KZ550LTD Oil Temperature Gauge/Oil cooler was created by oldirtybob
Does anyone know of a temp gauge? The only thing I can find is are the ones that go into the filler cap hole replacing the cap, but the clutch being where it is, it would seem to interfere. Its an LTD, so no oil cooler. Also thinking of getting an oil pan from a GPZ and figure out a way to mount the oil cooler, does anyone have experience or input for this sort of project?

The oil is in constant circulation and the temp readings from the ones in the filler cap are just fine to gauge how hot your engine is getting. If you really want to know the critical temps you need to install a thermocouple on the cylinder head, or you can use an IR thermometer when your done riding.

If I knew what I was doing all the time life wouldn't be any fun.
