Yeah, what can I say, silly n00b mistake. My mentor told me to not be afraid to ride around at high rpm's at first to burn off some nasties, After pushing it up my hill about 5 times when compression starts have failed in the past, or a few blocks back to my house when it died a minute into riding, I thought it safer to make sure it would actually run for a while, so I turned up the fuel screw and waited... oops, it is air cooled! now I have no spark. Plug good, tested it in the mower. Replaced the sparker cord, sparked a few times, now it won't again. Friend suspects the distributor, we will see. Argg. My friend is a rep for a boat company, and ran a brand new outboard without oil. Anyone else done ridiculous crap like us when they were learning bikes?
