Hello, you are next looking for race bike friend or shop to tig weld a bushing on the case. Any good guy with tig can do it. Also I would remove (Igniter box) from bike when ready for job. Long live the (E) Use a good piece of T6 Alloy for the job, rather than cheap Alloy = longer life repair........Nice to see another suviver........pics of mine I think are on page 33 or 34,.....1 of a kind Turbo........

If it was mine, i'd rather do it in the bike of course+less work. Only trust a weld, J-B IS NOT GOOD for such loading. I would try to find a striipped down block so you can see how much Meat is around that area on other side. It should not warp but a small bit. Just get tack welds 8-10 12 2 4 6 o clock would not heat it so much, give cooling time.... I have had some crazy welds with 30+ year service, caliper brackets...........yellow one is 750 caliper on a 83 YZ-60, And a master cylinder repair.....and triple clamps................take a peak........
