I'm not gonna get rid of the stock exhaust at all. So you took all the baffling out of the V&H, I want the 4 into 1 for mine. Did you re jet the carbs and put pod filters in? And was it hard to tune the engine with the new exhaust, and do you have a video you could post?

Don't have a video, but if you go with pods you'll most likely have to re-jet the carbs

1980 LTD 1000..,1976 LTD 900, have the 1000&900 now. the rest are previous= 1978 KZ 650 B.., 1980 Yamaha XT 500..,1978 Yamaha DT 400.., 1977 Yamaha yz 80..,Honda trail ct 70.., Honda QA 50...5-1/2 hp brigs & straton CAT chopper mini bike...3-1/2 hp mini bike (WHEN GAS WAS ABOUT 45 CENTS A GALLON)!!!!

If you leave the air box on and just go with the header you should be ok because there jetted a little rich to begin with. But if you really want to look cool paint it flat black .kidding. Just keep the old pipes to the side and don`t screw up the old mans bike.

Heres a short video of my bike with a open kerker. It was the first start up of the year. Also I know it leaked some fuel out the overflows.


1980 kz1000B4 LTD- 1327cc 9-1 comp

Welded MK11 crank
Back-cut MK11 trans
MTC 2 stage lock up
Stretched 4-6 over running Hayabusa rear rim with 190 rear tire
