Help me make knock-off stock Kerker meg baffles was created by staniel
Does anyone out there have an original, stock, Kerker megaphone exhaust baffle?
Mine blew out of my pipes on a trip a couple years ago. I've hacked together some stuff, like my snuff-or-not . It worked okayishly for a while. It changed the volume level from "exploding jet engine turned up to 11" to "WAY too loud". Then eventually my welds broke from all the vibration and heat.
Now it's time for me to make a real solution. It seems like nowadays you can only buy "performance" baffles that are loud and terrible for mileage. I liked the humble grumble of my bike when I got it, and I loved getting 44mpg.
If anyone out there has an original, stock KZ750 exhaust baffle , I'd love to see it with the baffling stripped off, and a couple drawings.
I suddenly have money coming in, which takes all the stress off, so now I can putz around in the shop!

MAC makes a replacement baffle that fits the Kerker.

Yes, but those are all short and loud and performance-oriented (lots of blow-through). The small (which is the closest to the stock, as far as I can tell), is out of stock and the quiet is $180.

Prices seem a bit stiff for a baffle!
