I went the plumbing route on my sons 78 kz650 and found a limited supply , the Stil chain saw dealer had a better selection of metric o rings and I trusted that they would be gas safe but still didn't have everything I needed.
I ended up going to the Kaw dealer for the balance.
This time I was looking for a quick fix and Kaw had everything excepted part #21027-003 which ended up being the wrong o ring anyways , it is the big internal ring in the starter that I will not mess with , the one I need is # 21027-004 that is on the out side shaft between the starter and the gear under the dyno cover cover
Ed found a good site for "O"rings but they only had about half of them.
Next time I will try to plan ahead and save some money but for 60 bucks I'm done are they are all numbered stock parts from the mother land and I have peace of mind that they should perform right .

I went with # 21027-004 instead of # 21027-003bluej58 wrote: Here's the list as per Kawasaki.com
The only one not available is the one on the starter motor shaft.
I ordered them through the local Kaw shop for $ 55.87 tax included
They are good on 77-78 A1, A2, A2A
