Never mind... I re-read their description: "OEM: 92083-021 - Genuine Kawasaki - This is the 3 coil version Fits Kawasaki KZ400/A/B/C/D/S Z1 and a small number of EARLY KZ900's - those up to engine number 95990 ONLY - for over this engine number see 92083-028"

Did you guys get the "Shift Shaft Oil Guide Seal" special tool"

No, I used a socket to put them in. I have a thread on them. There's three on mine.

I can empathize with your project. I was just in there last week doing maintenance. When you said screws, I had to read this twice. On my bike the pipes have to come off and since those screws didn't want to cooperate it was one of those shake your head, roll your eye moments. Have you considered replacing them with something easier to bolt on and off. I tried to reuse the screws, no way. Interesting that the spring broke where it did. I actually took my spring out just to look at it. If I have these same symptoms later on, I think this thread will help cut to the chase.

I was responding to this when the site went down.

I hope you read this before you try to put them in.

Thanks Steve. So basically, just push it in with a deep socket?

Yeah, tap them in. Use a smear of grease on the ones with metal inside. The all rubber ones you want to bond so keep them and the case clean.
